IGET Bar Plus Charging Time: What the Manufacturer Actually Specifies

Search results and forums give many different answers for IGET Bar Plus charging time—10 minutes, 20 minutes, 40 minutes, an hour or more. The more reliable answer is simpler: the official IGET Bar Plus page confirms a 600mAh battery and Type‑C charging, but it does not publish one fixed full-charge time in minutes.

Why a single charging time is misleading

Charge time depends on the starting battery level, the device revision, the cable and the power source. Two users can therefore connect the same model at different states of charge and see different charging durations.

What IGET currently publishes

For the original Bar Plus, IGET lists a 600mAh battery and Type‑C charging. Newer Bar Plus generations use different hardware; for example, the manufacturer lists the Bar Plus 3.0 with a 600mAh battery and Type‑C port, while later variants may have different specifications. Model identification matters.

Do not treat “40 minutes” or “90%” as an official rule

The previous version of this guide claimed that charging to roughly 85–90% at a specific minute was healthier for the battery and gave precise time estimates for different USB sources. Those figures were not supported by an IGET-published charging protocol, so they have been removed.

Use the device’s own charging behaviour

  • Confirm the exact model and revision.
  • Use the built-in Type‑C port only on versions designed for charging.
  • Follow the indicator or completion instruction provided with that device.
  • Do not leave the device charging unattended or overnight.
  • Disconnect it if it becomes unusually hot, swollen, damaged or starts behaving abnormally.

What about fast chargers?

A high-wattage label on a wall adapter does not by itself tell you what the vape will draw, and this article cannot safely infer electrical limits that IGET has not published for every revision. Use a compatible power source specified for the product rather than choosing a charger based on an internet claim that USB‑A, USB‑C or a particular wattage is universally “safer.”

Bottom line

There is no responsible universal answer such as “charge every IGET Bar Plus for exactly 40 minutes.” The defensible guidance is to identify the model, use its designed charging port, follow its indicator/instructions and stop if there are signs of a battery or device fault.
